Beef Slaughtered the Same Day You Eat It – Tainan (Taiwan)

Here goes the first post for delicious food I’ve tasted.

This post will reveal some of the great places I’ve been to in the food heaven of Taiwan: Tainan

The first place I must introduce is the beef soup.

The beef comes from the cows that were killed the same day as when you eat it, the tenderness of the beef makes it just melt inside your mouth!! Ah I can totally have another one right now….

Place is call “Ah Yu”, like what the signboard says, this place is recommended by many bloggers.

Meat is processed in the restaurant as well.

The rice with sliced meat is quite nice too, but I’d still recommend the beef soup.

Voila! Here’s the beef soup!
This is the NT$200 soup, there’s also NT$100 soup available, but the meat is different, the fat distribution over the beef is so much nicer for this one, there’s pretty much no fat for the other kind if that’s what you prefer.

Can you feel the tenderness of the beef!?

O.M.G. I’m just speechless.
Oh and they do also have beef hot pot as well, great choice for winter time.

Finishing with the beef, now we move onto the fish.

This next place is the fish thick soup, also a great one.

Usually I don’t really like cooked fish, as often the fish would have a mouth-puckering taste to it, but with this one, I had no problem with the fish, it was just so soft and easy to chew on.
